HP Launches Entrepreneurship MOOC

Education Development Center and HP have launched a new massive open online course for entrepreneurs. The class, part of the HP LIFE e-Learning program, is designed to provide the 75 million unemployed young people around the world with the tools necessary to create, establish, and grow successful businesses.

The class uses a modular curriculum which focuses on four main topics necessary for developing every business: finance, marketing, operations, and communications. The short, self-paced units help students develop rudimentary business skills—like using a spreadsheet to track expenses. The modules also provide students with practical business advice and case studies exploring real-life challenges faced by entrepreneurs in both developed and developing countries.

As part of the HP Life program students will be able to take advantage of 340 entreprenuer training centers in 49 countries.
