Online College Courses in Ohio (OH)

The 17th state admitted to the Union, Ohio is known for its coastal border of Lake Erie and its abundance of forests and hills. Its higher education system is managed by a Board of Regents, which provides an annual report on the state of higher education within Ohio. There are 390 colleges and universities in the state, 152 of which offer online college courses in Ohio.

• Trinity Lutheran Seminary. Trinity is a faith-based institution dedicated to preparing future Christian leaders. It awards various ministry degrees and trains students for careers as pastors, missionaries, ministers, and more.
• University of Phoenix – Columbus. A for-profit university accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, the University of Phoenix provides traditional and online programs. It awards undergraduate and graduate degrees in a variety of fields.

Cleveland. Bordering Lake Erie, Cleveland is the second-largest city in Ohio. Known for having multiple scenic outdoor recreational activities, Cleveland attracts visitors and residents alike.

• Academy of Court Reporting and Technology – Cleveland. Founded in 1970, the Academy offers up-to-date training in technology, criminal justice, reporting, and other areas. It is dedicated to preparing students for future careers in these fields. A number of classes are offered over the Internet.

Cincinnati. North of the Ohio River, Cincinnati is known for being one of the first boomtowns in American history. It has strong recreational roots in athletics, and is home to the University of Cincinnati, which was founded in 1819.

• Galen College of Nursing – Cincinnati. Galen College of Nursing is accredited by the Commission of the Council on Occupational Education and is also approved by the State of Ohio Board of Nursing. It was founded in 1989 and continues to provide top nursing education for its students.
• God's Bible School and College. A private, faith-based institution, Gods Bible School and College educates students in scripture and Christian values.
