One of the country's leading agriculture states, Nebraska also puts a solid emphasis on post-graduate education. The state features both the University of Nebraska system, which includes five different campuses, and the Nebraska State College system, which features three different state colleges. Lincoln. Home to the state's flagship public university, the University of Nebraska, Lincoln is also the state capital. Bellevue. With a population of more than 50,100 people, Bellevue has seen rapid growth recently thanks to an expanding economy.
