North Idaho College is considering allowing students to take massive open online courses (MOOC) for credit. The Coeur d'Alene, Idaho-based community college is considering using MOOCs as a means to reduce the cost to students.
As part of its evaluation process, the school has assembled an administrative task force to explore the possibilities. Among the things that will be considered by the task force, will be the content of pre-existing MOOCs to determine how they meet the school's curriculum requirements.
